Pet Treatery came about in 1985 through the combination of a company willing to go where no other pet treats company would risk venturing, coupled to a realization of continually shifting consumer needs.
Intrinsic to our success, we rightfully believe in the idea that consumers would gladly accept without reservations our claims to the desirability of the treats themselves. But we want to go one step further: imagining customers in an overly cluttered retail environment, being able to zero in on treats that can inform - and entertain - from a distance.
We entered the Pet Treats arena because we were able to identify what was lacking, and, through our differentiated approach, how we could overcome the obstacles to providing readily available solutions.
Our goal is breakthrough on all fronts. What we produce. How we prove its worth. How we package our story in a relevant, but also irreverent, human way. And, why all of this adds up to extraordinary value for our pet loving consumers.
Things change. At Pet Treatery we are in constant dialogue with our customers. We never stop asking questions, probing to see how, where and why needs have changed; taking what we learn to be able to respond and adapt quickly, and correctly. Since day one this has been at the core of who we are.

Giving Meaning To The Lives Of Animals
At Pet Treatery, we celebrate the well-being of pets and the joy they bring to families. But neglect and maltreatment of pets is the other side of that coin, something we refuse to turn a blind eye to. Pet-related charities and community-based events that collectively work to ease suffering, as well as bring pets and pet families together, form a large part of our continual commitment.
Pet Appreciation Initiatives: We contribute to Pet Appreciation events across numerous locations and multiple stores supporting awareness and the special bond between pets and their owners.
Support for Service and Rescue Organizations: Our efforts include backing crucial causes such as the Calgary and Area Walk for Dog Guides and local rescue foundations like pause4change and Dog Tales Rescue and Sanctuary. These contributions provide essential aid to organizations dedicated to the care and protection of animals.
Community Engagement: We're involved in community events highlighting pet care and interaction, including the Khatsahlano Booth and social photo contests, which help foster a closer-knit pet community.
Auction and Fundraising Support: Our participation in auctions and fundraising events help raise significant funds for pet-related charitable efforts.
Fun and Engagement: We bring additional joy and excitement to the pet community through special celebrations and giveaways, including Canada Day events and various pet giveaways.

Total Events Participated: In the past year, we've participated in over 58 events, each aimed at enhancing the quality of life of pets and their families.
Total Donation Value: With approximately 105 donation events, our contribution totals over $70,350 over the past 12 months. This significant financial support underscores our dedication to pet welfare.
